I still do not think the tree lined road is the Mulsanne road, as the trees are not far enough apart (width of road).
But, it's the first location driving over the bridge, with the farm house in the background, that I'd love to locate...

Last year on a trip with sandra to france in the 7 we stayed at a friends house.
They were amazed with the amount of attention the 7 generated where ever we went.
I mentioned how well the 7s are greeted on our trips.
They are friends with the mayor and got talking recently about cars and ours were brought up.
To cut along story short if it works on our short drive to the chateau the mayor has said he will close the square for us to park in, lunch would be sorted and the press there to record it.
The town is called lassay les chateaux which isn't to far of route with a possible park blat back to the chateau.
Only a suggestion chaps and no worries if you don't think it would work it but thought i should let you know there kind offer.
Perhaps see where the town is and let us know what you think.

We are definitely adding this stop to the schedule!!!

Interestingly, we are likely going through (or just past) the town on our first day in France - but will have no time to stop as we have a long way to do that day...
Can still wave as we blatt through though!
