The problem with bringing the blatt forward is some want to do the '7 Club' event earlier in July...
And there needs to be a bit of a break between the two

Ok chaps, I have just had an e-mail from 'La Vieille Maison' - www.lavieillemaison.eu - offereing a 15% discount on rooms for 2017, as were are amongst their 'favourite guests'
This is where I was thinking of staying on night 3 and 4... (night 1 being the ferry crossing...)

So, I guess we meed to start making real plans now?
For those that have not been to La Vieille Maison, it really was gem on The Long Way Up!

They're fully booked for the 21st - 23rd July. The best they can do is either the 19th / 20th or 24th / 25th.
Do we fancy moving the dates around a bit - say, leaving a day earlier, so we can do the 19th / 20th???
(Or just fined somewhere else?)

So...
Based on the shorter route most have voted for, we have a total of 9 nights away, including the night-time ferry crossing.

That means we can leave on the evening of the 19th, and be back in Blighty on the evening of the 28th.
or
We could leave on the evening of the 17th, and be back in Blighty on the evening of the 26th.
(That would be just so we can do La Vieille Maison...)

What do you think?
I am sure there are plenty of other places we can stop instead of La Vieille Maison... but it was very good

It's probably not worth causing a faff to be honest...
Based on Hedge's 'Lattitude Festival' I think it would be best to stay with the 19th to 28th, as originally planned.

I'm sure we'll find other great places to stay!

Happy new year everybody including Hedge.The 19th to 28th is ok for me .

Just confirmed dates with the Boss. Will miss the first week of the the kids summer hols but that's OK for me.... 19th to the 28th then.
