Hello again just to confirm that everyone needs to book their own tickets. It looks like we do not have any ACO members in the group and block booking a large number of tickets for a discount may not be possible. Maybe some of the group will need a different ticket package (VIP passes or on site parking). So I suggest we each book the tickets we are going to need. Below is my suggestion which I think will work for most and it's what I believe we have booked before.

http://ticket.lemans.org/mes-autres-produits-classic/lmcpad

The suggestion is the 3 day general pass, Parking blue, plus Paddock pass. The paddock pass must be added as a supplement after the entrance and parking options.

Just so there are no issues, this is what you need to order... (I went with self-printing of the tickets, so no additional delivery cost).

If you're a L7C member tickets are a bit cheaper booked through the club here

Happy to try to buy extra L7C tickets, let me know this week if you want one. Note blue parking not offered.

Eugene: Does Le Bounty always run a shuttle bus service to the circuit?

Based on today's exchange rates I don't see the w/e price as being any cheaper than direct from the ACO...

It is if Paddock is included though.
And you really need Parking Bleu too.

But how can they be charging £27 for 'tin-top' parking, when it's €18???

Le Bounty does run a shuttle, but timing can be a tad erratic.
I prefer to drive up to Parking Bleu, and walk over the road into the village - and then stop off at Le Boul D'ore for a beer on the way back

Been working on routes, with TeaBag!

Day-1
Day-1, from my place to Plymouth - we can sort meeting points along the route. TeaBag & Smuts look to joining me at Chez Le Presidente.
We could aim for a lunch stop around Pewsy (I used to live around there...)

Day-2
Day-2, and we could even have lunch by the river, where we stopped (late) last year, and they still fed us...

Day-3
Day-3, and although there is a great restaurant at 'Le Fieche', it's probably too far for lunch.

Days 4, 5, 6, & 7 are all around Le Bounty...
We could do a nice Lunch run on Monday, if we can find a good restaurant that's open...

Day-8 is the return, and we have three routes we have used in the past...
Day-8a Day-8b Day-8c

Well parenthood and moving house really has knocked my 7 escapades Gutted I can't make it to Le Mans this year, don't forget to remind Uncle Albert that I've asked him to bring back a 2016 pint pot for the collection (if it comes with a pint in it I will be impressed :up.

Hope everyone is well (I'll now retreat back into my cave for another 5 months).

What do you think?
The need to know numbers and a guaranteed booking in advance to open.

Gentle hour run out on the Monday for a nice lunch before the real delights of pie and chips at the bounty. Looks good for me.
