So, as you all know, we made into the local paper...

In the news

And it says - roughly...

7-DNA. Lotus brotherhood in Pont-Lédan

In the news
Rows of Caterhams in the parking lot of Pont-Lédan before departing for Questembert.

7-DNA is an association of enthusiasts of the Lotus Seven, a two-seater sports car, or its inspired models (Westfield, Birkin, Locost, Dax, Donkervoort ...).

Last Wednesday, nine drivers of this association had a lunch break at Viviane Pont-Lédan.
"We landed in Roscoff and we are head to Questembert by the small inland roads of Brittany as they are very quiet," says Steve, the head of this group of Caterhams, each with different BHPs (140 to 220 hp), calling their stop within 'Scaer' "a Lucky find" (d'heureuse trouvaille).
"We are heading for the gathering of vintage cars taking place at Le Mans from 8 to 10 July."
"Le Mans Classic" is kind of a "preservation" event and a complement to the 24 hours, with exhibitions, and competitions on the famous Bugatti track.
Arriving and just leaving the car park of Pont-Lédan, the nine British pilots demonstrated their technique at a controlled skid (Ooops!).

What he said...! An amazing few days.

~1050 miles all in for me (plus a few more when the speedo stopped working on the way home) - that's, I'm embarrassed to say, about 25% of the total mileage i have done in the car since I built it three years ago!

if anyone is interested, here are some of my piccies I took: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/67trk2sfboehy1z/AACOgRA0YgEnpTYuYgzfBwVva?dl=0

Sygic, they say:

Unfortunately, we do not support importing of routes from external sources into Sygic iOS app at the moment. We are working on a similar feature for route creation via PC, but we do not have more information about this yet. For now, all routes have to be created within Sygic app.

So by next time, I hope they will have sorted it... or I will have to ask if does anyone has an old Android phone I could borrow?

Oh... today I ordered a replacement painted rear wing from Caterham Cars. I did contemplate buying a standard one and getting a local bodyshop to spray it but decided to take the (more costly ) path of least resistance (also it'll be their problem if the colour doesn't match, rather than mine! ).

A bargain £300+ That'll teach me to undo my harness and look more carefully when reversing!

Why did you not get a standard wing/repair the old one and get Tony the brush to paint it?

Uncle Albert said better to replace than repair... thereafter, I was unaware of the existence of Tony the Brush... Tony the Tiger, yes...!
