Col .. of course.. but you may be a bit late for a cabin on the Wednesday night ferry. Also we are only staying at le Bounty until Sunday lunchtime when we're off for a blat up the country to a posh B&B for a bit of luxury and a good meal! At the moment we have all their room booked bar the 'Tree House' .. which is the luxury honeymoon suite type one! Although as with all things, people drop out ..

We will be getting the tunnel back on Monday at 3pm ish, as le Cour is well up that way.

mine's a pint

cheers RJV...

Who is in your group? (and so how likely for one to be a drop-out? :smirk

Exactly which ferry out is that? Will book a place on it and see if a cabin is also available (worst case will sleep in the bar!)

re the return, which B&B is it? Will see if I can negotiate a deal on the remaining room.

Also do you have details of exactly which tunnel train back you have in mind?

As long as it isn't a pint of Eurofizz lager, and ideally something of Fuller's, happy to oblige!

(what else do I need to book? Le Bounty, paddock passes etc...?)

JV was right... I am too late for a cabin or a seat for the Wednesday crossing... as it is an overnight crossing, you have to have one of these to book!

So... Plan B is to join Eugene et al on the way out and John on the way back - is that OK with you chaps? (or put another way, Uncle Albert, whatever accommodation you have in mind for Wed 6 July, can you add me to it please?! )

Hello again just to confirm that everyone needs to book their own tickets. It looks like we do not have any ACO members in the group and block booking a large number of tickets for a discount may not be possible. Maybe some of the group will need a different ticket package (VIP passes or on site parking). So I suggest we each book the tickets we are going to need. Below is my suggestion which I think will work for most and it's what I believe we have booked before.

http://ticket.lemans.org/mes-autres-produits-classic/lmcpad

The suggestion is the 3 day general pass, Parking blue, plus Paddock pass. The paddock pass must be added as a supplement after the entrance and parking options.

24 HOURS OF LE MANS

Total: 106.00 €

Donut

Are you able to add me to the accommodation for the night between the ferry and Le Bounty please?

Once I know for sure, I'll sort out my ferry ticket out (Le Bounty deposit already paid and Le Mans ticket bit in hand via L7C)

Uncle Albert is sorting the B&B...
He'll be along in a moment!
But, I see no problems - there's another local B&B we used on Le Brittany Blatt if needed.
