Cheers Steve have given up for now. Sygic and iPhone just don't seem happy to load external routes. Have gone back too the trusty old TomTom. May look at this again just before the trip.

Hi Dougnut, this is exactly the same problem I had last year for the CLM as I couldn't figure out to get a route into Sygic on the iPhone. In the end I resorted to planning the route on Tyre and then manually inputting all of the lat and long coordinates for each way point into Co Pilot (another sat nav app). Hopefully you'll agree that the resulting navigation wasn't too bad (or was that Uncle Albert in my passenger seat using the book of maps p )
