Good to see Monkey 1 wasn't hitting the hard stuff too early, he needs to pace himself as he's not getting any younger.

More likely to be Monkey 1's navigation skills being a bit rusty (reference to having to wait for Donut).

I have to say a HUGE thanks to my Le BOG Club Blatting partners for the run home from Llandow

Le BOG Club Blatting

We had what was an epic Blatt home, with some great roads, and some great 'manoeuvres'.
I had my video cam on all the way, so will try to edit some of the more menorable moments - but there were a lot!

Glad you did not have to wait too long.... Definite bird strike to clean of the sump. S...t and feathers everywhere. Track was fun but the blat back was really epic.
Settling in with a drop of Penderyn whiskey to calm the nerves.

Thanks again Carl for organising a superb weekend of blating and track action. Put me down for next year.

Fantastic weekend, Mr Beers did another splendid job of organising

As you may see in the above photo, my Lotus did the classic Colin Chapman approach of "adding lightness".....unfortunately I was doing 70mph at the time

Just reviewing my video footage, obviously not going to post up clips on all the times I was overtaken

520 terrific miles across gorgeous hills and dales with a track day stuck in the middle ,
beer and food stuck in the middle of that and great friends to do it all with ( some missing unfortunately) .
Having out witted a campervan at the bottom of the Toddington hillclimb I set my fastest time up the hill ever .
Look forward to doing it all again

Thanks Carl - very pleasant weekend, great company and a chance to chill out. I just managed to stay awake towing my car back down the M4 - your blat home sounded a lot more interesting!
