I did but the stumbling block was getting the route from Tyre onto the iPhone, tried their on-line support but they weren't overly helpful.

Ah - was that the conversation about the location of the 'itinerary' folder?
In Android there is a Sygic/Res/itinerary location into which you place the itineraries...

Is iPhone that different???

Yep, it was that conversation (I tried updating it but it was locked)? Problem with the iPhone is that I couldn't see how to get into the folder system to add the route file.

Just came across this on Piston Heads if anyone fancies it...

Hope to not step on PH's toes with this, but if anybody fancies a bit of a drive out from the circuit (and perhaps before/after the PH meet) there is another gathering happening at the Chateau Rive Sarthe just outside of Malicorne-sur-Sarthe, approx 30min drive SW of the circuit.

Its being hosted by some friends of mine who have based themselves there for nearly 10 years now. Its completely free and there will be food/drink available to buy throughout the day. I've been to the Chateau a couple of times and its quite a site with lots of interesting history including some gnarly stuff from WWII.

Hi Mogster, not sure if you're still having problems getting .ITN files into Sygic but it's certainly possible I've done it several times on my iPhone. The process is to first convert the .itn files into Sygic format using the 'ITNConverter' program then use 'Dropbox' to sync the file to Sygic. Which is a hell of a lot easier than manually inputing all the waypoints. If you need a detailed guide just let me know by replying to this post.

Hi Paul, thanks for the offer to write up some instructions, if you could it would be very much appreciated as I'm totally convinced my CoPilot workaround will not work! Main concern is if I miss a waypoint or stop for lunch and exit CoPilot, I've then got to go back into the waypoint list and delete all the 'historical' ones to get me back on track which will be a right royal pain in the

Hi there, As requested I've written a doc explaning how to copy .itn files into Sygic (and added a few usefull Sygic tips which I found online) and posted it in my public Dropbox folder which hopefully you should be able to open with the link provided below:-

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/42129130/Copy%20TomTom%20file%20to%20Sygic.docx

If you have problems with this or any questions then please let me know. Not sure if you are aware but you can also import custom POI's into Sygic. I subscribe to the 'PocketGPSWorld' Speed Camera database so I can load in the camera locations into Sygic with warnings and icons just as I can with Tomtom which is very usefull. If you need info on this then just ask.

Regards

Paul
