Ok, starting this thread for all Le BOG Club members...
(If you are not a Le BOG Club member don't ask... it's nowhere near as exciting as it sounds!)

Anyway, Hatter and Caption Plugwash have suggested a change to the normal Portsmouth / Le Havre route...
Their suggestion is, with approx costs:

Portsmouth Bilbao Out: £209
Cherbourg Portsmouth Rtn: £139

With Brittany Ferries.
Deposit of £25 when booking, balance by 14th May.

Cabin for Out Trip:
2 Berth Outside £110
4 Berth Outside £140
(Inside cabins a bit cheaper)

Leave Sunday 29th June
Arrive Tuesday AM Bilbao
Have a stop-over on way to Le Bounty
Arrive Le Bounty Wednesday like normal

Return trip Monday evening on hi-speed 5pm ferry from Cherbourg.

Thoughts???

If we are going to do this I think we should book ferries soon!!!

The alternative is similar to the normal route...

Portsmouth/Caen Out: £119
Caen/Portsmouth Rtn: £139

Sleeper Seat £5

So a difference of approx £150ish difference.

But, we have to leave on Sunday to do Spain, and will have a hotel stop-over on the drive up the Le Bounty...

Could be fun though???
