A few of us are planning a scenic drive to LLandow to hook up with the Rehab chaps at their upcoming track day on Saturday 2nd September 2017.

The plan is...

• Check weather forecast on Thursday. Abort if looking wet.
• Drive to south Wales on Friday, taking in some nice roads through the Cotswolds, Herefordshire, Brecon Beacons (with a Penderyn stop), arriving in the Bridgend area late afternoon.
• Stay in a hotel (I'm too posh to camp) e.g. I normally stay here (£75ish per night B&B, safe car park, plus swimming pool!).
• Friday night dinner at the excellent Plough and Harrow as visited 2 years ago.
• Return on Saturday, or
• Do JV's track day / go to the beach / do some local blatting, stay another night, return on Sunday.

Excellent idea ,could do the Friday /Saturday might have to either do late sat run back ,as have a big bash to go to on Sunday or very early Sunday run back !!

Looks a blast but a frayed knot... will be too busy drinking exceptionally cheap, exceptional beer at the Fuller's Open Day (and doing a bit of work too!).

Weather looking dry on Friday and Saturday with heavy rain on Sunday.

So my plan is to stay one night, return home on Saturday late afternoon.

Will post here on Thursday evening with route and suggested rendezvous point (for those not trailering their 7).

Have booked 1 night at the Best Western Heronston hotel, Bridgend. Looks like there are more rooms available (eg with Trivago), but you might need to shop around.
