I think it is positive.
Caterham appear to have ditched their world domination plans for bikes, karts, SUVs, etc. and are re-focusing to what they are good at -- making sevens. The order book appears full and far reaching, with production strong. Tony Fernandez seems to have lost interest, but there's no point him running the business down, no assets worth stripping, so he'll leave it ticking over in the CEO's hands. I have no inside info to back up any of this.
So long as they can stay a step ahead of crash/emissions/etc. legislation I think they will always have a small but strong market. |
