I need to fit an oil temp gauge on the PTP Evo 220 K1800 equipped Seven SV, and as there's no oil sump drain plug, I think my best bet is to use an inline mounted sender.

I have a unit like this one which I can use, but I'd like to know who made it, and the thread size and type?



This will go in the oil return pipe to the Breese tank.

I used the inline unit with an adapter, as it has an M16 hole. Got gauges from Merlin Motorsport, nice quick delivery, after DemonTweeks wasted my time by taking an order and failing to mention they didn't have the instruments in stock, and order delay from Caerbont is 1 month! The day I cancelled, I also discovered that Demon had a serious error on their site, showing the mechanical OP gauge with the face of the electric one, a totally different design, with a 70° sweep bottom mounted needle.

If I'd received them, I'd have gone bananas...after a 5 week wait. I'd ordered a mechanical OP gauge and an electric temp gauge....completely different face designs....

I cancelled and bought from Merlin, who actually hold stock.....a novel idea, it seems.
