Hi,
Noticed yesterday a metallic rattle from the rear end going over bumps etc. On checking the underside rear today thankfully nothing serious but the metal handbrake rod that runs parallel to the axel goes through a metal circular plate which is attached to the back of the diff. The noise is simply the metal rod "Rattling" inside the plate.

Question is should there be some form of bush or similar to stop it rattling or am I being a little too fusy?

Sticking with a similar area I think I need to replace the rear bushes very soon including the front. The rear centre "A" frame bush has had it. Can anyone recommend a kit for the live axle 1999 version that encompasses all of them?

Any advice would be very welcome.

Cheers

Yep, there is usually a rubber grommet in the hole...

As for bushes, I recently had Chris (Uncle Albert) at 7 Workshop change all bushes for Poly ones...
He says it was a ***** of a job!!!

I have been using Poly on the A-Frame for years.
