Yes in the 7 that I built nearly 25 years ago!
I should do a full write up ( & will do if I get time)
But put simply we took the ferry to St Malo, went across to the west coast (Quiberon), down to Bordeaux, up the Dordogne
across to the Millau bridge, down to Montpellier, then across to St Tropez where we stayed with friends then
we went to Monaco for a slow lap, and up over the back roads in the mountains (stunning) then to Turin,
From there we went to the alps and stayed in Sauze d'Oulx, then back through the alps to Lyon and then north home
coming back via Calais.
And didn't put the hood up once or take the bonnet off to check anything!

This is something that I want to do before I depart this world. Glad to hear you had a great trip and your 7 performed perfectly, but then you built it , so why wouldn't it?. I have family in mid France so am planning a trip over there at some point. Trouble is with me is that living alone I have 3 dogs, call me a soft barsteward but I just can't bring myself to stuff them off into kennels for a week or two , will have to wait some years I think before I take my dream trip with my 7.

Our Dogs have dictated our holidays for the last 10 years!
Thankfully all the kids are now driving so we had the chance to go on our own!!

Great pics, and may I say a well choosen colour scheme ( my old competition car was the same), looks like you had a superb time, and you even had rain and still never had the hood up - you must have had your 3 weetabix that day

Now the agreement last year with her ladyship was we would have my choice of holiday then and this year she could pick. So I'm expecting a package tour to the Canaries or maybe a Greek Isle, Croatia would be nice? But no what does she pick?
Similar trip to last year but can we go to Portofino and maybe tour Tuscany, oh and in the Caterham!!!
Oh well I'd better get the maps out.

Thanks for the club italia links but we'll be back before then, I can if so wish leave the car in a friends underground car park near st tropez, very tempted to as I don't get a lot of time to use it now, but a couple of cheap flights a year and some good holidays becon?.
