Dropbox is a pain, as it won't allow direct access to the picture...

I think there is a way to use it, but will need to check what it is!

A Piccy

Ok, you have to use the 'Copy Public Link' option from within Dropbox, and then use that link in the forum via the 'Camera' button (it says 'BB Code for Picture Insertion' when you hover over the button).

That works

For clients I use the 'share link' from the drop down menu.
This is that

On my Mac I can't see a 'copy public link'
Let's see if this works. I'm interested to see if there's any difference in performance of .png over .jpg.

The 'share' link wont work, as that is not the raw image, it is a page with the image embedded in it (you can tell as there are other menu items and buttons on the page.

The 'Copy Public Link' is only visible when you are in the 'Public' folder, not 'files' or 'Pictures'...

Any help?

I add the image to my Drop Box public file.
I am using a Mac.
Right click on the image in the public file and it should give you the option to 'copy public link'

Apparently the Public Folder is no longer included in Drop Box. I tried creating a folder and making it public but all I could do was share it with my existing contacts.
I think I should stick with colouring in. It's simpler.

You can make a Public Folder!

https://www.dropbox.com/help/16/en

Scroll down to 'Creating a Public Folder'...

You may have to manually make the folder, and then use the link above...
It seems to both 'remove' the Public Folder if it thinks there is one, as well as make one...
A but confusing, but it does work!!!
