I have just changed engines from a standard 1600 K to Supersport 1600 K, however the ECU that came with the engine will not run because if the immobiliser so I have my standard ECU running at present.

What are you thoughts and opinions on ECU's - do I do a cheap fix and get Z&F to remove the immobilser from the SS ECU, upgrade the standard ECU to SS spec or go the whole hog and change to a Emerald / MBE / ?

I reckon it comes down to where you'll get it mapped. If London them mbe. If eeat anglia then emerald.

Steve Greenald can map both of those without issue and has to be my favoured expert when it comes to Rolling Road tuning.
