On my CSR, 55mm to the front of the sump; yes my eyes are peeled on the road ahead at all times.

I have just changed to CR500s and now have to push the car off the drive to avoid it bottoming out!

On a Rallye in France I missed seeing a speed hump




The chassis




Just going dry sump which will mean the bell housing is the lowest point. Thinking about some Kevlar skids.

Sounds like a good idea

70mm under the sump now for about 12 years. Only one hit, bloody gate stop sticking up and did not spot it. Small leak fixed with araldite for about 18 months before I took the sump off and got it welded. The araldite repair was 100% oil tight.

Haven't had time to work on the car lately. Will be underneath it again coming weekend.
