Series 2 Lotus Elise 135 Sport
Mine is one of only 135 factory built 135 Sports, some were dealer upgrades.

So, what's the actual age of it, mileage? Is it a K, or the later Toyota? BHP? And are you going to be Pesky, or Pezky on here?

Car was a '51 plate. 1.8 k-series with 135bhp - hence the name.

53k miles. The car was used many years ago in a magazine track test against a Lambo & Porsche. I'll get the article scanned and posted on here

Not planning to mess with it too much......yet
Going to get the geometry checked and get an additional oil temp gauge fitted. Previous owner had fitted a oil presure gauge and an additional water temp gauge. I think an oil temp gauge be more useful. Service and cambelt change due.

Only driven 100miles in it, picked it a week ago and then went to Germany It's still insured for trackdays.

Unless I re-register I can't change my profile name, it was Mr Beers idea for Pezky to match the reg number.

Believe me, on a k-series you want the water temp gauge. This way you can easily tell the head gasket is on its way out!

There is a water temperature guage on the Stack dash. Generally with a k-series don't give it the beens until it's up to temperature, I would think the oil temp would give a better indication of this.

I noticed after I fitted a oil temp gauge in my Zetec how long it took the oil to heat up compared to the water, I fitted a laminova which greatly improved things.
