		What a great weekend!!! The circuit was great fun, and Eugene suffered no problems... And the 'social' side was equally great - actually better than that! What a great bunch of people! And the run there was real fun down the back roads. And when coming home there were 3 together - having a great time - Me, Dave and Uncle Albert... And at Stow On The Wold we decided to fill up for the final run home... And... I... Did... Something... Very... Stupid... Filled up with diesel!!! Spent hours in a different garage trying to clean it all out... Failed! Back home on the back of a recovery truck... Now got to work out what damage I have caused!!! Le Presidente

		Sorry to read that but if it helps, last month I filled up the Defender with Super Unleaded in a hurry. Needless to say I missed my appointment... Trackday seems like a great day of fun with all the cars parked on a trailer. How fast did that Disco go round the track towing a Seven?

		Well, I spent this morning stripping the carbs, cleaning out the cylinders, etc... After stripping the carbs at the garage yesterday, and cleaning them through, I am amazed how much diesel is still in there, and just how bad the plugs are! It will take a lot more cleaning to get them diesel free... And the inlet manifold gasket wasn't exactly as it should have been - the backfiring really had wrecked it! So, this time I will do a thorough clean and hope all is ok when put back together! I can't see any other damage... Le Presidente
