The Adidas Sunglasses (cycling glasses) I use for driving are great, as used for the Douro Valley run.
But, I was wondering if they could be 'improved'...

And yes, it seems the can!

With the aid of a hairdryer (don't tell the wife...) and an old can, just a bit smaller than my head, the glasses now have a near perfect fit.



It seems the plastic they are made from will easily re-shape with a little heat - noting too hot.
So I 'pinned' them to a small can (paint tin) of roughly the correct size/shape, and just ran the hairdryer over them (with the lenses and nose bridge removed).

The fit is now near perfect - almost like fitted goggles.

That is the technique used by spectacles' shops to adjust the fit on acetate frames. You just need to be careful with the lenses so they don't break.

Tested the glasses today - amazing improvement in them.
Virtually zero wind affecting the eyes!
