Better not let that poster find out that there is a Cat7 owner that is a member of the WSCC either, so we can't get along eh...???

Norman!! Where are you?

Well, I used to have a lot of respect for folks on BC,but having just read a post by someone who calls him / herself Higgs Boson, I can only assume that he thinks that owners of mixed 7 types can't have a open forum

We're not all like that Westy in my experience the vast majority of members of the Lotus 7 Club are broad minded and are happy to realise that everyone has their car to enjoy it, no matter what it is.
So don't give up on all of us because of a few narrow minded individuals

I didn't realise that mentioning this forum had been banned on BC. Might as well ban mentioning Westies, Tigers etc. How shortsighted that is. I feel a rant coming on.

I think there was a thread advertising 7-DNA that was removed, but I don't think mentioning it has been banned on Blatchat as it's been mentioned several times in various threads.

Unfortunately that's not correct - and both Hatter and I have messages from 'the team' stating that 7-DNA is a banned subject on BlatChat...
I could post the message content, but I'm not sure that's ethical?

There have been quite a number of threads removed - started by others - way more than the one you mention, which was offering the 7-DNA t-shirts at cost to all, so not breaking any 7 Club rules... one thread started by simply said that 7-DNA was interesting, as it mixes it up a bit, rather than being single marque focused. That thread didn't stay long.

But, it's not really important - we are here just to have fun and engage in our common interest!
7-DNA has never been about being an alternative to any 'club'... it's just for fun for those that are interested in all thing with 7 DNA running through them. What other 'clubs' think really is irrelevant.

I don't often look at BC anymore, however I noticed Eugene's post which everyone above has mentioned [hi Steve]
I own a lotus 7 S4 Was a L7 club member & BC poster for many years, was a very active member of Taffia so well known within the club [Hi to all who met me and the wife! at some of the old taffia events] eventually got banned from BC for views which their M team didn't agree with [standing up for my car - an un-cool Series 4 Lotus7 ]. I hope here on 7-dna we can all contribute without any type of predjudice whatsoever. Besides my Lotus I also owned a Dutton Phaeton for 25 years or so, so yep the L7 club M team really appreciated me and my postings on BC
Well done to Steve/Eugene for starting 7-DNA - lets show BC what a 7 forum ought to be like and free for all
Anyone owning a Series 4 Lotus 7 or needing S4 info please get in touch I'll try to help, there's not much I don't know about this model. I'm also learning plenty about Caterham's since the wife bought her's
Anyone else in S Wales area want to meet up for a drink and a 7 type blat email me and we'll try and arrange something.
Cheers
