I have need this week to collect a rather large item, the tintop is bust at the moment so the 7 will have to transport it, its a clay fireback that measures 20 inches by 22 inches by 7 or so inches... Not huge but is awkward to fit in without either damaging it, or more to the point damaging my car.... reckon on using an old duvet to wrap it in first then strap it in to the passenger seat, should be ok there....

What have you moved with your 7?.

Lotus TC engine sat in passenger seat with the webers pointing towards me!!
Pair of Leak 2060 speakers these were huge speakers weighed 60lbs each one in passenger seat 1 in boot recess held in with bungys!
Both of these were in 1970's when my7 was my only transport.
Some may say SWMBO's awkward too - mine ain't she owns a 7 too, so if your Swmbo's awkward maybe time for P/ex on the wife that is

LOL, I count myself lucky, I don't own, sorry that should read have a swmbo , instead I have tdwmbo (three dogs who must be obeyed)..... Only one can fit at any one time so that suits me, the tintop carries all 3 when I need it to , my fireback project might be cancelled anyway, seems the seller has an issue.... darn Ebay..... Biggest thing so far for me has been two 205 x 13 tyres sat in the pass seat, I had considered making a small trailer for the 7 , but thought it would look a tad stupid, could make the towbar removable for most of the time.

7' tall Christmas tree in the passenger seat. Couldn't see to the right at all, but the lot was only about 3 miles from my place and on the same road, so no need to turn or change lanes. I also use the Westfield to pick up long pieces of lumber/trim/pipe from the home improvement store that won't fit in any of my tin tops. Here's a picture after loading up several pieces of 12' long trim.

Wow, that would attract the boys in blue over here for sure, I had considered doing a B&Q ( other DIY stores are available ) run myself to construct a garden project, whilst the tintop is an estate ( Station Wagon) it still would have too small to transport them, I ended up getting the bits delivered in the end.... I may now give your idea a go , I tell the cops its a dogem car that escaped !!!....

And Eugene we do need to see that picture I am afraid, all parts of the rules or so I'm told.....

LOL, I think that is the best one so far , I assume the BIB were ok to let you continue, looks well fastened on to me..

They were fine about the attachment of the desk. I think they just wanted to stop me and have a look because they couldn't quite believe what they were seeing!!
