As some of you will have read on the Llandow thread, on the way home I did something really, really stupid!
I filled the 7 with diesel!

So, I have cleaned out the carbs, fuel lines, spark plugs, and tank over the past few days, using some serious carb cleaner, and spent days making sure everything was clean.
First point to note is that no matter how clean of diesel you think the components are, they will still be contaminated!
I had to do three separate clearing processed before the fuel system was cleaned of enough diesel for the engine to run - and even then is still smoked like CaptainPlugwash puffing heavily on his peace pipe!!!
When first run-up, the backfiring then blew the inlet manifold gasket out, so that had to be replaced!
This was before the above mega clean, so I really suggest not trying to run a 7 with diesel contamination before doing a really good clean..
With the engine running after a near week's worth of cleaning and decontaminating all was still not totally perfect (ignoring the smoke) and a quick test proved no# 4 spark plug was dead...
Replaced all 4 plugs with an old, but known good, set, and the engine finally burst into correct like - but still smoking heavily - buy, does that diesel take ages to clear!
Then went for a 20 mile run, and even after that there is still some smoke, but all is working as it should!

Will run on the 'old' plugs for a while, and then when the smoke really has cleared up will put in a new set of NGK PLTR6A-10G plugs

So, if you every make such a stupid mistake, know in advance cleaning up the diesel will take ages!!!
