Hi guys, after fitting my new 6 speed box there was a problem with selecting 4th gear.
But after a few weeks it loosened up and worked very well until it started to crunch 4th, so yesterday I pulled the motor and box.
I stripped the rear housing off to get at 3rd and 4th, having the right tools did help, and I found 4th sync had been binding on the gear cone and left small grooves.
I had the cone reground and fitted two new syncs and put all back together tonight, I have taken lots of pics as I was stripping it so could be useful for others.
The box is quite easy to work on, just a few things to lookout for when reassembling.
