Leaking brake master cylinder

After my 7 (Classic live axle, 1999) failed it's MoT on a few minor issues, one being brake light failure I thought this would be an easy fix.

Sadly no!

Checking the brake light switch as both lights failed to work made me realise it failed due to brake fluid dripping onto the switch.

I've removed the master cylinder it's a Girling 74660152. Caterham sadly don't have any stock at the moment and redline state they don't stock it as it has been upgraded to the AP racing version.

So my question is:
Do I wait for Caterham to have stock?
Chance the redline version that probably has different pipe outlet positions? I don't even know the size of mine anyway!
Source somewhere else however where I have no idea? I believe it's a Ford Cortina variant.
Source a repair/service specialist! Again, no idea!

Again any help will be appreciated as always.

Managed to find a company called "Past parts" in Bury St Edmunds that will refurb it.

Fingers crossed

Lately things never goto plan!

Sent the master cylinder off using Royal Mail guaranteed delivery and somehow someone has signed for it but not from past parts

Clearly it's ended up in some random place, it's insured but that's not the point as I wanted the ease of replacing the part once it was fixed, knowing it would fit.

I'm looking at the AP racing version if there is stock somewhere however I need to confirm a couple of things?
1. Will this fit like for like without the issue of moving the brake lines and will the mounting holes be the same size/location of around 60 mm apart.
2. I have a feeling that the AP racing version has a different bias to the standard Girling product I have (Or not as the case be). Am I correct in asssuming the standard is around 50\50 and the AP is around 60/40.

Does anyone have knowledge/experience of the AP product.

Cheers

Phil

I have the AP racing as supplied by Caterham.
Don't remember any issues when fitting compared to the standard one...

And have no idea about the bias... but again, no issues when I changed over.

Caterham told me that the AP version was not suitable for my model however the day they took delivery of the standard item Past Parts received my original master cylinder in the post!

Anyway this has since been refurbished to a high standard and returned the day after I made payment. Couldn't fault them highly recommended.
