Actually, I was anti-corrosion proofing the chassis and body work with ACF-50

I do this every couple of years, and it's kept the chassis and body in very good condition - excluding general wear and tear as I use the 7 a lot!
Previously I've used watered-down WaxOil (with white spirit), but decided to change to ACF-50 this time.
The application was very easy, using the supplied pump bottle.
Time will tell how good it is, but all reports suggest it's very good.
But, while doing this I ran a few other checks and decided to run up the engine to just check things over...
Eeek!!!

I thought I had been smelling petrol a tad strongly for a while, but there was never an obvious cause.
So with the bonnet off I started the engine and petrol 'pissed' out of the fuel line connection between the two carbs!!!

I had forgotten to tighten the unions when I stripped everything down after my slight error with fuel type!!!

Cripes - that could have been terminal

I've done literally hundreds and hundreds of miles with the fuel line in this condition!!!
What an idiot!
