Afternoon all,
On a recent trip out I noticed that I was grounding out on cats eyes when only me in it. I am not that fat.
I checked the ground clearance from the sump when no one was in it and it was only about 3"max.
Also anyone had the meteor motorsport adjustable ARB? Is it any good?

3" sound OK to me, sounds like your springs may be/have gone a bit soft if you can use up all that with cornering + cat eye hight

I would love to say it was cornering but it wasn't, it was along a flat road overtaking a slow person.

Are you sure it wasn't the exhaust that was grounding out, rather than any part of the chassis/body?

It was a fairly big thud to be honest and not just once. The silencer would have given a bit.

Ok - I'd start looking for tell-tale marks on the underside - any low points...

You should be able to spot what's been hit.

It was the sump that hit. Dry sump?

I've been pondering this recently as I'm just easing back into Sevenship after a few years retirement from the madness.

My backend looked a tad high, but then the car wasn't loaded, and the tank was empty as I'd taken it out to polish the bottom, due to a nasty attack of overspray...

I think I'm right in saying that the starting point should be car loaded as 'normal' so for road use, average couple weight and some luggage, with say a half tank of juice, and at this weight the front lower wishbones should be horizontal.

From here, measure from lowest chassis tube just at the rear of the front cycle wing, then at a point on the chassis at the front of the rear wing. The second (rear) measurement should be 15mm more than the front.

Is this correct? I hope so, as the car has the original Bilsteins and they aren't adjustable.
