Time for a little bit of work on the Seven, and maybe the last of the home-brew Stout.
New geared high torque starter.

starter1

A little bit of a tight fit but seems to work well.

starter2

Time for more beer

Cheers guys. It seems to fit and work well, I've taken it off again, had quick look and no tell tell signs of it rubbing where it should not be etc. Will refit and wrap the starter.

Its going to be a dark IPA?

Lights out Back IPA
Black as night but refreshing citrus ale driven by powerful Citra, Galena and Amarillo hops. Aroma is mostly toasted malts, coffee and citrus notes. Taste is hoppy bitterness with notes of malt, coffee, grapefruit hint and touch of liquorice."

superb...

I do like dark beers... spent yesterday evening drinking Dorking Brewery's Black Noise (definite hints of liquorice there) and loved last year's (I hope to be brewed again) Fuller's Black IPA - as you suggest provided an interesting combo of an APA's citrus bitterness but with roasted coffee flavours of the chocolate malt - YUM!

All looks ok, no rumbling sounds, and the beer was nice.
