Unsurprisingly, my rear tyres are showing a bit more wear than the practically good-as-new fronts. Nothing borderline illegal or anything, but noticeably more worn.

So, I'd like to swap my front wheels to the back and vice versa.

Is this a straight swap, or do I have to worry about balancing and weights and what-not?

Shouldn't need balancing. I assume they are the same size tyres front and back?

Just make sure you keep them on the same sides as most tyres are directional (although the ones in your picture may not be.. Check on the sidewall of the tyre).

Ah - they may not be 'directional'... they may be driven direction, which is the opposite for tyres on wheels driven by the engine, vs. wheels driven by the road...

Directional tyres reversed on the front can improve braking

They're not directional as far as I can see, there's just an instruction on the sidewall that says "This side out" or something. Even I couldn't get that wrong...
