Ah - I think you are trying to link to a piccy on your PC...
You can't do that.
The piccy MUST be hosted in the web somewhere - some free hosting service, or even on Facebook.

I thought that was the problem but was being lazy, I'm just uploading to Flickr...

The image URL must end in .jpg, or .png, etc.
That means the image must be on a page on its own, with nothing else on the page.
Usually a right click on the image wthin the Facebook page will offer an option such as 'Open image in a new tab', or similar...
That new tab is the URL you want!

No right mouse click on Apple! I'll keep experimenting - now uploading an album to Facebook.

I think with crappy apple you do a Ctrl Click, or similar...

(I hate apple!)

Ok - try to follow this...

Click on any piccy in the album Facebook page, so it displays in a large size.
Then Ctrl Click (right click in PC world) the large piccy, and from the menu that pops-up select 'Open Image in a new Tab' (or similar).
Go to the new tab, and copy the URL, which will end in .jpg.

The in this forum click the 'camera' icon, and enter the copied URL...



Simples!
