This is one special Tiger, having been professionally refreshed and updated over the last six months by Gotboost Performance Tuning in Bridgend. Originally built by Chester Sports Cars (an approved distributor of Tiger Cars), the car was fitted with a 1800 Ford Zetec. This motor has recently been replaced with a Ford ST170 engine, running on Suzuki GSXR throttle bodies. The ST170 engine is basically a 2.0 litre Zetec at heart; it has a Zetec block but is fitted with higher compression, cast-aluminium pistons and forged steel connecting rods and has a high-flow aluminium cylinder head with larger inlet valves and higher lift intake and exhaust camshafts for higher peak rpm levels.
The car produced 175bhp at the rolling road session completed by Gotboost Performance Tuning, running off a bespoke map on a Megasquirt 2 V3 ECU.

If you tot this little lot up, you can see I have invested over £5000.00 in parts alone for these upgrades. I have also spent a considerable amount on top of this for the professional labour costs to achieve such a great standard of finish. So, all together, a pretty significant investment on top of the original cost of the car, to create this rather special fast road/track focused Tiger Cat. I hold extensive paperwork and receipts providing good history, which will be passed to the new owner on completion of the sale.
I welcome personal viewing so you can ensure it is the car for you. I am collecting the car this week from Gotboost, so it should be available to view from late March. The car is currently on SORN, but will have 6 months Road Fund Licence (tax) added as part of the sale. The MOT was attained in November 2013 and the car has completed less than 100 miles since, as the upgrade work has only just been completed.
