New forum member and first time poster.....hello all.

I'm looking to get a 6000 mile service carried out on my 2015 Supersport SV, preferably somewhere relatively close to home.

I live in Fareham, Hampshire.

I've searched the usual online resources but can't seem to find an experienced Caterham garage within 60 odd miles of home.
Tom New is very local to me but I've tried to contact him without success.

Any suggestions from the forum for a recommended service centre in Hampshire.

Try in James Whiting in Ashford Middlesex - should think he's within 50 miles of you. He is the Uncle Albert of the West of and South of London - old skool, knowledgable and good at what he doe

The last time I was there, rumour was that he was looking to retire and reducing the amount of work he was taking on.

If not, how far are DPR in Redhill from you? A certain persona non grata here loves them but that shouldn't put you off if they're competant!

Hi, long time lurker here, who lives just up the road! (Shedfield, near Wickham). Tom New sold his property a couple of years ago, but according to a thread on Blatchat is still in operation in Bishops Waltham.

https://www.lotus7.club/forum/chitchat/servicing-and-mot-hampshire Hopfully, that comes up, it does quote a mobile number for him that may be worth a shot.

Thanks for the responses guys.
Cpt P, I had looked at the Blatchat thread (I used to be a member) but it's from 2018 and I've failed to get hold of Tom.

I've been looking at James Whiting (I think he's retired), Partridge Green, Sevens and Classics, DPR and others but feeling loathed to drive an hour or two for a service, I guess if I want assured quality I'll have to bite the bullet.

Thanks again.

If you are going to bite the bullet, then my recommendation would be to use the 7 workshop. Chris has been around sevens since before God was a boy!

Yes, he's in Herts, but hes a great guy and knows his stuff. He's on here as Uncle Albert (I'll leave you to guess why) 😁👍😁👍
