Feeling a lot better now after a Fuller's 1845 l had with my dinner .

I just asked about headaches to The Banker because he mentioned White Port... And tannins are known to "produce" headaches...

It was the local trying to be funny using an oenological reference... Just didn't work

Visited Porto on a wine tour a couple of years ago... enjoyed all of the produce but have one very happy memory of mid-morning, on a train into the Douro valley to visit a vineyard having lovely crispy natas and a couple of glasses of white port - much better than the elevensies we have around here!
