Just found the site while sitting by the pool during a nice relaxing holiday. It was a shame when Blat Chat became members only as I feel we lost a huge amount of knowledge and expertise. Hopefully this site will grow and become a great resource for like minded people.

Hi, strayed on to here from BC out of intrigue. Fair to say it is actually very good chaps. Relatively new to 7 ownership and this is great place of information and general fun. May meet many of you at some stage - have you got a funny hand shake or is it just watch for the logo (which is also 10/10)

I think BC should embrace this forum. The underlying motivation is sound from what I can see and frankly to ban it will simply cause more interest. I drive my car to enjoy it and meet others of like mind. I have total respect for those that have committed hours, days and months to their projects.

Welcome Ian, yes we all get along over here just fine, unlike the many posts elsewhere on the internet would have you believe. I have a sneaky feeling this forum is not only going to stay, but will be the best 7 based forum out there, the mantra of welcoming anyone who has or is interested in any 7 car is spot on... You will now have to post some pics, thems the rules ( just kidding !!)

I thought it was about time I said hello to everyone and introduced myself properly!

My car's a Stuart Taylor Locoblade - a Locost with a Honda Fireblade engine. The kit is still available from Aries Motorsport. I've had so many bits from them the car is probably more Aries than Stuart Taylor now.

I bought it secondhand when I retired almost 7 years ago as a track day toy and since then it's done over 10,000 miles, most of that on track.

It's nice to find a forum that includes cars like mine - are there any more out there?

Welcome Granny, great to see another flavour of 7 on here, always fancied a B.E.C car , in fact I was going to dump the XFlow in favour of, but never did.... Yes there are other mixed 7 sites out there but to be honest ( and I am picking my words carefully...) not all are as friendly as this one..

We need some pics when you get the chance as well

Have you ever done any L7 club Blats, we had A Locoblade turn up one eve and join in the Taffia 'pre meet' blat, I spoke to the driver in pub after and he seemed a really keen 7'er, surprisingly we never saw him again

Hello everyone. I have a Caterham 7 and Lotus Elan plus 2. Keen on all the "chapman dna". Live in telford and like to do all my own work. I like my 7s to be clean, smart and shiney underneath as well as on top.
