The curse of the Voo Doo tow rope, hold on tight,

Would the new engine need a 1000 miles or less for a run in and a oil change etc, did we ever find out how a newer engine car had this failure.
My 400 had approx. 24000 and was running well before i let her go.

Uncle Albert has spoken to RaceLine - who supplied the new engine - and they say to run in for about 600 miles, but using an extended and variable rev-range, with no labouring, and then change to Miller fully synthetic oil - which Uncle Albert has at the ready

This is basically how I've always run engines in, including the Zetec presently in Eugene.
It means the cylinder bores, etc bed in well, and the engine uses no oil due to glazed bores.

So hopefully we can have the engine fully run-in in no time!
