As watching the Royal luvvies
will keep most people at home and off the road - let's sod off to Wales on an overnighter ......

We've done this in the past with Markiebabes and some of the Penn 7 lot and we know a hotel that's great - with a good bar and good grub.

Who's in?

Count me in. Last time I was in Wales was 20 years ago in a new MR2. After 3 days I needed new rear shocks, really should have slowed down over the bumps, will do now, it's not a company car no more.

I intended to organise a jolly to North Wales, but realistically I don't have time to plan it. Instead I will do the L7C "Welsh Fish & Chip" run: Check weather on Thursday, book hotel, drive to Chepstow Friday, do F&C run Saturday, return Sunday. Anyone else in? Appreciate that this doesn't help you much Jules as it's a L7C event.

Our plan is weather based too. If it looks good the previous weekend we are off on the Pie run and headed to Scotland, returning on Sunday. If the forecast is poor for the 12th we will wait for the Fish & Chip run (although it's a early start) trying to meet up with the Penn Sevens or Northants on route. Stay in North Wales and return on Sunday
