Ok, we all drive our cars hard given the chance, and if you don't you shouldn't own one , however, would you post a vid of your self on a public road on the UK mainland to popular video web hosting sites in the knowledge you could be identified and may have to face the consquences of any dodgy or dangerous moves, I watch a lot of stuff that amazes me folks take that risk. There have been many cases already with folks getting a knock on the door by the BIB or a letter on your mat from the same, one example springs to mind about the Japanese driver testing his Ferrari ( or whatever it was) and was tracked down by the law... I have a few vids myself but all are hidden from view to the public, as my driving could appear in the eyes of the law to be not quite as good it it could be....

worry me? No more 'concern'......that said blatting pals generally edit anything that might be too contentious before posting, and make sure that obvious tell tales aren't visible - after that it would come down to interpretation of poor driving or trying to prove that a clear offence has been committed - ie/ speeding. Rightly or wrongly i suspect that there's far too many vids out there for folks to trawl through, the exception being one that goes viral.
One of our crew posted up a bit of a traffic light GP recently, 2 lanes of kits, nowt else around, i hadnt been on the run, 1st thought was that it didn't necessarily show the boys in a good light, then again it was clear they all backed off before warp speed was reached. In comaprison to some of the vids posted after say a PH style meet where there may be flyby's etc it was pretty harmless.....but what's acceptable to one may well not be to others!

If you post a video of yourself driving in a manner that would attract attention then don't be surprised if you get nabbed as someone will grass you up. However you can post videos of yourself driving hard but within the law. Don't see a problem with that myself.

LOL, editing out the bad bits, geez I would have no video left to watch after that. I did show an old mate who used to be my spanner man on rallys, he said whilst he fully appreciated the content for what it was, he said in his current capacity as a driving instructor , that I would have failed miserably , he then , just to rub it in a bit more highlighted every single indiscretion .... The problem with a lot of the vids you see is that the camera is not looking at what the driver is looking at necessarily, being an ex biker as well I have learnt how to read the road , follow tree lines etc etc etc, so a move that looks dodgy on a video clip was in fact quite a safe one through the drivers eyes, just playing devils advocate here. I rewatched my vids last night and actually there is now nothing on the car left that could identify me anyway, such are the changes I have made over the 3 years or so ago....
