Ok - I'm booked too!
Same crossing, also with a 4 berth cabin - Ref: OK51957
(Only for the Outbound crossing - didn't bother with anything - not even a reserved seat - on the return...)

To add to the cabin booking, you need to book via phone.
Cabin was £99 - it has a sea-view

Right - trip planning...

I know TeaBag wants to go visit his mate Fulbert, at Lan Caradec: https://www.lan-caradec.com/lancaradec/en/
So two nights there first stop off the Cherbourg ferry?

Then what???

I would suggest 5 stops, with two nights at 2 stops... 1 night at three???

As ever, would be keen to visit some D-Day beaches...

Assume last night would be with Herve and Madam but could it be a night midway through en route to TeaBag's mate?

ie could we head east initially, rather than west as we have in the past - then circle south to the Chateau and round to Foulbert as the last, rather than the first, night before heading to Cherbourg?

Either way, don't mind!

As an aside... smilies don't come up on my iPad. Usually they come up as a separate page which is what happens but after a tab is opened for it, it immediately closes. Pop-ups aren't blocked.

Over to Prez/TeaBag for some Apple-knocking.

Chaps - how about something like this, with 2 nights at waypoint 2 (first stop at Teabag's mate), and 2 nights at either waypoint 4 or 5...
I have kinda planned around a couple of places we know, additional to Teabag's stop - but we can find other stops, including, dare I say, an alternative to Le Chateau...

The B&B Martin owns, who posted in Le BOG Club Facebook group, is unfortunately not in an ideal location for a stop - where the red arrow is.

The distance from TeaBag's mate Foulbert to Caen ferry would be too far to guarantee making the port in time...

So - the suggested route included La Rochelle/Ile de Re, as I know Hedge wanted to stop of there...
But, as he's not coming maybe we drop that stop, and have 3 stops of 2 nights, and 1 stops on one night - the last @ (a) Chateau...
Depends if we fancy two stop on the coast...
Or, we move stop 2 to be closer to the coast - something like this...?

4 stops...
4 stops...

Now... talking of Chateaus... back in the day, before Château de Sarceaux became Le BOG Clun HQ, I had a conversation with Chateau La Mouchère...
Unfortunately, they could not accommodate us, as there was a wedding booked the following couple of days.
(I did offer to share beds with the bridesmaids... )
But they were very friendly, and sad that we could not visit.

That was back in 2017.
So, I have just emailed them again - but...
Looking at TripAdvisor, the last post were on 2018 - so they may have closed.
