Right - TeaBag has booked us for 2 nights at Fulbert's place, at Lan Caradec.
So - if no-one else makes any suggestions as to the route, and places to stay, I will just go ahead and book stuff!!!

Go for it... as long as there's a decent bar and/or restaurant in/adjacent to the hotels, I'll be happy!

I'd like to finally join for at least half the trip if there's room. Problem is that Mrs E has booked a weekend away that weekend, which she's trying to change, and that I could be about to change jobs. So bit difficult to commit for a week or two ☹️.

I'm trying to align the stars and make it doable. Apologies for the delay, inconveniences not intended. If I literally miss the boat, it will be my loss.

19th June: 22:00-08:00 (arrive 20th) - Overnight Ferry Portsmouth-Cherbourg
20th/21st: Lan Caradec

22nd/23rd: Hôtel L'Embarcadère

24th/25th: Hôtel de France

26th: Château de Sarceaux

27th: 16:30-21-30 - Ferry Caen/Ouistreham-Portsmouth

I was trying to book HERE for the 24th/25th, but unfortunately no space...
The couple have been on Help! We Bought A Village.

Mick did suggest HERE, but no bar, etc...

As the last day will be something like 80 miles only - depending on which Chateau we end up in - there should be more than enough time to do a few D-Day beaches on the way to the ferry - potentially including Pegasus Bridge Cafe...

But that will mean NOT having one-for-the-road the night before at Le Chateau...!
