Does anyone know the figures? Under a hundred? Over 1000? I saw an article from 2012 which implied 'around 500' per annum.....anyone know how many of those are SV type wide chassis?

Specifically, how many SVs were made by year?

Don't all shout at once!

Seems there are 2200 on the road and 1200 sorned in the UK.

Not a lot for 41 years production, but there are others which were exported, and also those built solely for competition, which don't appear in DVLA stats.

seem too recall in the past it was circa 500 total pa with roughly equal numbers of academy, factory-built road cars and kits... suggesting current production is up quite a bit...

it also suggests ~150 race cars which can't be right, can it? Maybe it was 150 total... Who knows...

(suspect my brain is still influenced by the excellent Fuller's Brewer's Reserve, Vintage Ale, Past Masters, Jack Frost, Black Cab and London Pride I've having between bottles of wine over the last couple of days...! )

I know Ansar Ali was claiming 500 per annum in 2012 so that would be a 50% increase in 2 years....
