Hi All and road trip advice please!
So Helen has just informed me that for being a long standing, hard working employee (obviously, her words, not mine) work have awarded her a 6 week sabbatical, to be taken in the next 3 years.
Whilst pondering what to do for a few weeks the idea of a grand tour of Europe came up (Can't recall who thought up that one..) Anyway, it's probably not going to happen until 2020 due to pre arranged holidays for next year - equals lots of time to plan. So...
What are the must see/must drive, roads and destinations for 3 or 4 weeks in a 7 on the continent? Current thoughts are an overnight ferry to Santander as a starting point, but open to suggestions. Also, any web sites/blogs you can recommend?
