I have two maps for my K series; one is for touring (supposedly better fuel economy, motorway work etc) and one is 'full power' but I can't remember which file is which.

Is there an easy way to identify them from the settings or better still if I email them as attachments, can someone with much better knowledge than mine take a look at them?

Thanks

Which one were you thinking for le mans , as we have plenty of time to get down there i would enjoy the route and take a relaxed approach and have some fun too.

Hi Frank sorry for slack response. I'm able to use both as I have an Emerald with a dash mounted switch but would like to know which is which. I should be able to tell the difference when out and about but can't!

Not an expert by any means but I would have thought that if you can't feel any difference then they're not different enough for you to need to worry which is which.

I would expect that the full power map should have more throttle sites at the top end. The economy map should have equal spacing of throttle sites across part load areas and top end. Of course that assumes that the emerald has the ability to vary throttle site spacing.

Otherwise I guess look at a specific throttle site (say 3/4 throttle, 3/4 revs) on both maps and see which has more fuel.

I know you're right but there's something purely psychological about rotating the knob on the dash to full power! (If nothing else it chanes my driving style!).

Will try and take a look at the maps as you've suggested.

Thanks
