Hi
I was driving along the B255 Westwood Road near Longfield, Kent today and came across two geriatrics in a Lotus Seven coming the other was way.
Now the road is narrow and bounded on both sides with hedges and so, understandably the gereatrics stopped some two feet from the side of the road.
Not wishing to scratch my car I crept forward keeping away from the hedge on my side.
When I came level with the driver he tapped my car (a 107) and asked "is this a F****** bus?", " is this a F****** bus?"
I asked him if he would like to put his car in the hedge and when he said No I asked why I should do so?
Of course there was no reply.
Is this the vocabulary that other road users can expect from Lotus Seven drivers or does it suggest that what I had come across was in fact a Caterham?

Unfortunately, your get dicks in all walks of life - seems you found two in the 7 fraternity
Lotus 7 or Caterham, Westfield or Tiger, or any other 7-type vehicle really makes no difference...
Idiots are everywhere...

I find that when I am out in the Caterham I am frequently abused by owners of regular cars who do not appreciate the fact I can overtake them safely in places they can only dream of overtaking.

I usually thank them for their concern with a one fingered salute.

I was following two mates in 7s up an Alpine pass when we came up behind a lorry. Who then spent the next 3 or 4 miles squeezing the gap every time anyone made an attempt to overtake. What a twat! We parked up at the top of the pass and when he went past he made a fuss again as if we where the problem!
It is all about what it's not!
