A quick hi from Holland.

It appears I'm the owner of the first lhd built Caterham SV.
Bought it secondhand years ago. Had the pleasure to enjoy it for almost a year with non-stop problems with the k-series.
Took it to a shop, let it there thinking he would get things right and forgot about it.
Even after delivering a brandnew Duratec with all the conversion parts, nothing was happening.
Overly dissapointed, I took everything back after a couple of years.
Car is now almost finished with help from friends.
Got a new set of Nitrons delivered by Carl of Sevenspeed, recently. Will be posting a picture of it shortly. The future is looking bright again!

Used to look like this:

Hopefully we can fabricate and install the rear brakelines and fix the engine cable loom coming weekend.
Other important things are getting the entrance of the garage fixed. Otherwise I can't take the Caterham out for a spin. Could save me some money on fuel though...

Too bad 'Mad guy' didn't let me win a color coded set front brakelines too match the Nitrons. This after I send in the most crappiest photo I had ever taken!
Maybe I should have send in a nice looking photo? We'll never know I guess...

It's the photographer failing in this case. They are silver. Have them from Goodridge.

Absolutely. Trying to finally get the car up and running before winter though.
It's a good thing to keep in mind because after next year I'll probably strip the car again to have it's chassis done and a reskin.
Some bodyshop I trusted cut a big ugly hole in the skin for the primaries and drilled a hole in the chassis to fix the exhaust on the side. They could also have listened to me and mount the exaust bracket the right way as Caterham already had a pre-made hole for the exhaust mount.

First shop I trusted left the car in his shop for over a year, whilst I totally forgot about the car to busy starting up a family.
The next year I didn't realized he stashed the car next to the garage.
Needless to say what that did to the general paintwork, I guess...

Anyways, found it too much trouble to argue on that, simply brought it home. Will be like new within two years time from now.
Apart from it's MOT, the car won't see a garage any more. Lost all faith.
