With the big 4 0 rapidly approaching, I need to give family and friends gift ideas. In addition to the Caterham I like my gadgets so already have Apple TV, Logitech Harmony One remote (highly recommended if like me you've got more remotes than furniture!), digital photo frames, weather stations etc.

I'm into all things great outdoors; camping, hill walking, skiing, sailing, road and mountain biking.

So far on the list is a new (no hood sticks) boot cover and a pair of Momo shoes (I have expensive taste!) but that's it, so what else do I need in my life?!

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hadn't thought of a GPS unit, that would certainly come in useful on the hills. I also like the idea of a Caterham drift day (or something similar like the Silverstone days). Will need to look into the quad copter as my GoPro only gets used once a year.
