Forum Rules

The 7-DNA forums are aimed to be a melting-pot for discussion of all things Lotus 7 inspired, without major restriction. However, as with all such forums we do need some rules that all of us agree to follow, most of which are based on the concept of common courtesy.

Think of these forums as a 'virtual pub' and you won't go too far wrong. Some 'elevated banter' is expected, and the odd argument, but please act and say things in a way you would be happy to do face-to-face in a pub!

So to the more boring legal bit...

By accessing these forums, you agree to be legally bound by the following terms. If you do not agree to be legally bound by all of the following terms then please do not access and/or use this site. We may change these at any time and we will do our utmost to inform you, though it would be prudent to review this regularly yourself as your continued usage of this site after changes mean you agree to be legally bound by these terms as they are updated and/or amended.

You agree not to post any abusive, obscene, vulgar, slanderous, hateful, threatening, sexually-orientated or any other material that may violate any laws be it of your country, the country where this site is hosted or International Law. Doing so may lead to you being immediately and permanently banned, with notification of your Internet Service Provider if deemed required by us. The IP address of all posts are recorded to aid in enforcing these conditions.

You agree that administrators of these forums have the right to remove, edit, move or close any topic at any time should we see fit. As a participant you agree to any information you have entered to being stored in a database. While this information will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent, the forum administrators shall not be held responsible for any hacking attempt that may lead to the data being compromised, although all possible efforts will be made to prevent such hacking.

Further, the legal rights of the content added to this site by its participants is effectively transferred to the 'Site' when any posts are submitted. Site participants cannot ask for content to be removed or unpublished at a later date, so please make sure that you are happy with what you write when posting.

Finally, all participants agree to indemnify and hold the Site and its servants harmless from any loss, liability, claims, damages and expenses, including legal fees, arising from or related to the content, use, or deletion of data, messages or use of any other feature or service in this site.

Basically, as it says at the top, think of these forums as a 'virtual pub' and you won't go too far wrong! Imagine you are face-to-face with a pint in your hand, and act accordingly.
